Concert Make-Up Work
The following is required to be returned no later than one week following the missed concert. Failure to follow the directions or turn this in will result in a student being disqualified from attending the end of the year Reward Trip.

Makeup Assignment
Choose one of the following two assignments and turn it in with this completed and signed sheet:
Watch the concert video and write a one-page 12 font typed evaluation of the performance. The concert video is shown in class the day following each concert. If the student is absent or would like to re-watch the video, it may be done before school, after school, or during home base. It is the student’s responsibility to set up a time with Mrs. Bonds to view the video.
The evaluation will be graded on the quality of writing and thoughtfulness of the evaluation. Students should consider all that was worked on in class in their evaluation of the performance. This should NOT be typed like an email or text-message. It is a FORMAL evaluation and should be written with proper grammar, spelling, sentence structure, and punctuation. The grade you receive for your written evaluation will be applied in place of your concert grade. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain the video from Mrs. Bonds.
Prepare and sing one of your concert pieces in front of the class as a solo for a grade. It must be prepared ahead of time and done well. Students will be graded on how well they applied all that had been worked on in class. The grade you receive for your solo will be applied in place of your concert grade.
FAILURE TO DO THE MAKEUP WORK OR TO FOLLOW DIRECTIONS WILL RESULT IN A STUDENT BECOMING INELIGABLE FOR THE REWARDS TRIP.
