Mrs. Jill Bonds holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree (2003) and a Master of Music Education degree (2005) from the University of Mississippi.Jill is currently the choral director at Brookhaven Middle School in Decatur, Alabama. At Brookhaven, she directs choirs consisting of over 150 6th, 7th & 8th grade students. While under her direction, the Brookhaven Wildcat Choir has received excellent ratings at the Alabama Vocal Association District Performance Assessments in 2010 and 2011. Various Brookhaven students have particiated in the Alabama Vocal Association All State Honor Choir. In 2010, Jill was selected as Brookhaven Middle School's "Teacher of the Month".
Jill is an active member of the AVA,(Alabama Vocal Association) and MENC (The National Association for Music Education).
Jill's and her husband, Tony, have been married for 3 years. Tony is a teacher and coach at Buckhorn High School in New Market, Alabama. They are expecting their first child in October.
